About the event

During this workshop, Melissa will introduce you to several different concepts associated with qigong.  Together you will learn about Qi -what it is, and how it flows through the body. Then you will incorporate that knowledge with gentle flowing movements to move energy around the body, releasing any blockages and restore your natural state of balance.

Melissa will take you through flows from ‘The Healers Path’ - with an emphasis on the wood element, which is more dominant as we move towards spring.

  • Explore Waking the Qi to invigorate/ wake up your energy
  • Move on to flow with the 12 Rivers, circulating the energy through your body and learn how different energy pathways relate to different organs
  • Be guided through the beautiful 5 Waves set of moves to combine the energies of all the elements throughout your body
  • Finish with a healing visualization meditation to consolidate and ground the energy work done in the session

This workshop is for people completely new to qigong and those who are already practising.

Cost: £25.00
