Acupuncture in Richmond Upon Thames

What to expect during a treatment:

Laurie will take time to talk to you about your reason for coming for a treatment. She will do a detailed intake regarding your current health, happiness and primary ailments. Laurie will then put a treatment plan together with you, and begin the treatment.

Initial treatment lasts 90 minutes, and follow up sessions are 60 minutes. Most patients report feeling very relaxed during their session, and some even fall asleep.

Many people notice significant improvements after their first treatment, but the effects are often cumulative and can require multiple treatments for optimal healing.

Acupuncture can help to treat:

Anxiety/Depression
• Chronic Pain

Richmond Upon Thames Acupuncturist, Laurie Glenn will treat you using the practice of inserting very fine sterile needles at specific insertion points. Each acupuncture point has specific functions that assist in the healing process.

Acupuncture aims to treat the cause of a condition, not only the symptoms through restoring proper body function at the deepest levels. In addition to healing and helping manage specific health problems, acupuncture can help with stress and promote general wellbeing and calm.

A key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture has been used for over 2,000 years. TCM includes a broad range of practices that began in China; all based on the common concept of helping the body heal when it experiences imbalances.

Laurie is experienced and trusted by her patients.  Don’t hesitate to contact her for more information or to make a booking.  Feel free to reach out via phone 07950 300 909, email laurieglennacu@gmail.com or via the website.
